Yum Cha - South Brisbane

A handy place for a quick lunch. The food is fresh, tasty and in good supply The service is very good with plenty of smiles handed around

We ate at this outlet several times when we were in Brisbane City Centre because we liked the different choices (you could have as a soup with noodles or with rice). Each time we were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the food is freshly cooked. Very reasonably priced too.

They served us a raw fish, when we complained they cooked it again, not gave to us a new fish, unprofessional. In the rice a found a tail of prawn i don't eat prawns tails, i thing no one does. Fly flying around us, very annoying. At the end I had to pay for my $4.50 drink which in other restaurant I would be offer have it for free, in this case ( uncooked fish). Definetely won't be returning. Not recommend to others.....

I had lunch at this restaurant several weeks ago and thought it was rather bland. Nothing special and I've certainly had better. The dipping sauces seemed watered down to me. They have several carts going around with a range of Yum Cha, but if you order something off the menu expect to wait a while. I didn't find the service very friendly or welcoming and I won't be going back.

Arrived for yum Cha without acknowledgment while waiting to be "let in"after opening time. We felt unwelcomed and some what of an inconvenience. We were then seated next to a delightful rubbish bag/ bin, hmm red flag should have left then! Asked if we could sit somewhere else and she didn't like it and frowned upon us! We Placed our order, had to wait up to half an hour for food we had to order,keep in mind this is a yum Cha restaurant. Get with the program with bringing on the food, we were the only ones there when we ordered..the spring rolls were very ordinary and sweet and sour sauce tasted like a bowl of vinegar..spareribs came out and they were old, the bones on them looked like something my dog buried in the yard! The Chinese broccoli that was served with the maggot was the cherry on top! We bought this to the attention of the floor manager, she offered a refund on the maggot broccoli and ribs but we had to pay for our tea, spring rolls and pork buns what a joke!! Worst yum Cha and service I have ever had! Do yourself a favour and eat anywhere but here. YUCK!!
