There are plenty of options to have a crepe here and to be honest, I've never had a breakfast sandwich/wrap made out of crepes, so of course I had to try one. My bf isn't a crepe fan so he ordered a burger, which they had no problem preparing at 945am. The crepes here are thick and hearty with a slightly sweet taste. They are delicious. And adding crumbled bacon, a fried egg and cheese only made it more delicious. The fries are pretty stellar here as well. They have many a coffee option, but I love airplane window seats and hate bothering/inconveniencing strangers so I try to keep diuretics at a minimum at the airport so I just had a chai. It was a boxed chai. It was ok.
This is good airport food at a good price. I decided to try the Hot Apple Crumble (courtesy of the cashier's recommendation). The apples are sweet and flavorful, and the ice cream on the side is substantial. For about $12 this was worth the price!
If you're looking for a really delicious breakfast and crepe, this is your place!! I got bacon, eggs, and cinnamon crepes with fruit and Nutella on the side everything was so yummy!! Vermont maple syrup was amazing!! I also got an iced chai latte that was great too!! Would definitely be back!
I had a flight departing at 10am. They weren't even open.. I was really disappointed as the menu looked really good, too.
I'll start by saying that I haven't really had a crepe since I worked at the Creperie du Village in Aspen, CO. If you don't know great crepes this place will fool ya. That being said it's the only place around town for a crepe... and you get what you get. The crepe dough is very thick and the fillings are very light. The balance is off. This time I ordered a sandwich because I knew what the crepes were like. Pictured is the Intervale- two full pieces of sourdough with 7-10 pieces of spinach, two thin slices of tomato, two thin slices mozzarella, and in the background a hint of pesto Mayo. I amended my sandwich by putting both slices of mozzarella, and tomato on one half of the sandwich. It tasted better then. Before that it was just sourdough and a whole lot of potential. If you're into crepes you'll be underwhelmed by the creativity and crepe to filling ratio. If you've never had them then you might think crepes aren't that great. If you ever find yourself in Aspen go to creperie du village and be inspired by the really endless possibilities of crepes. (Or if you're the owner check out their menu, thin out your dough, and put out something that makes people crave crepes when they come to town.
