Karo’s Cake Shop - South Gate

The staff here is very friendly. One of my fav. Cake shops closed during the pandemic and was scared I wouldn’t find the perfect cake for my weeding, thankfully after doing a search I found Karol’s cake shop, I stop by bought a piece of cake and booked a cake tasting date. We are super happy with the results, they arrived at the time we asked for them to drop off the cake. Everyone loved not only the designed but the taste of the cakes as well. this cake shop!

My friend ordered a cake for my birthday back in January and it was so good!!! Super moist and frosting was just perfect! Ordered a cake for my Niece’s birthday in March and it was so good as well! They make beautiful cakes and delicious!

I ordered a cake from this place and the lady gave me whatever she wanted the decorations from the cake were all falling down and the fondant was all lumpy from the top I called and complained and she told me that she gave me the flavors she thought were best together after I paid $425 for it. I ordered a marble cake and she gave me red velvet and worst thing is that I paid $425 for a cake box mix. Don’t recommend this place if you want to order a fondant cake very unprofessional.I’m sorry you think 25 dollars is a good of enough refund for a cake I paid a big amount for it Im not going to be going back to your store just for 25 dollars

I ordered a cake for my sons birthday 3 days before his party and they were able to accommodate. The cake was better than expected and delicious. I provided the cake topper and figurines because it was a last minute cake. she provided an edible sign even though I didn't request it.

With my birthday coming up I was testing local cakes. I was excited by the great reviews and pictures but disappointed when sitting around with my family the cake turned out rancid.Tasted sour and spoiled with an acidic taste
