Teriyaki Sushi House - South Gate

Tried this highly rated place, and no, if you've tried good sushi and Chinese or atleast decent, you'll be dissapointed. Or atleast I was. So the food does taste fresh, it doesn't taste like it was sitting around, but like my chow main had no taste. the sushi did have good flavor, but it's weird tasting like warm sushi though.. so I guess that would be a preference.. this is more Like a local type spot, basically nothing else, I would recommend a Hawaiian spot flavor wise

The restaurant is a small establishment. Sharing the same lot with a car wash.My go to for sushi. Fresh, moist, tasty.Customer service is really good with the fundamentals. On occasion when needed they do have good ability to go above and beyond.Although haven't tried it yet. They do have the service to call ahead then when on arrival just pay.Will I go back? Big YES as the cravings come.Do I recommend it? YESUpdate:Recently done a order by calling it in ahead of time. The flow of the transition was smooth. Walked directly to the front counter. Checked in using my name. Gave my payment. There was very minimal waiting. For what I saw the short wait was to check the work making sure it was correct.

I ordered the spicy tuna and Philadelphia roll they were both really good. I'm used to going to high end sushi restaurants like Nobu in Malibu and although this place is not the same quality it did not disappoint! I will return when I'm in the area!Food: 5/5

Best place in town to satisfy your Sushi craving! Will definitely be coming back. Sushi tasted fresh and delicious. I phone ordered and picked up. Plenty of parking.
