This is a very comfortable restaurant with delicious food served in a timely manner. It could have been warmer, but we were a large group. The chutney tray was excellent, featuring a nice variety of dips. The restaurant is well-decorated, with appealing bench seating. The staff was very attentive. I would recommend the onion bhaji. I was hesitant to write a review, but I feel I must share my experience. Unfortunately, the food I received was cold, and the chicken was both dry and lacking in flavor. The sauce was excessively oily, reminiscent of unhealthy options associated with heart disease. The pakora resembled an over-fried chicken nugget, featuring a thick batter that barely concealed tiny pieces of dry chicken. Additionally, the Peshawari naan was bland and had a rubbery texture. In hindsight, I could have boiled some chicken at home, slapped it with a paper towel, and tossed it in coriander for a more enjoyable meal! And don't even get me started on the meager salad served alongside.

So I’m just moved to Winterbourne and thought I’d try a takeaway. One of the best curries I’ve had and a very reasonable price for a large portion. Recommended!!
