Had a meal here with my wife yesterday. The food was nothing short of excellent. It’s fair to say that I have not had a curry that good in a very long time. We went around 17:45 so the place was empty except for quite a few people collecting takeaways. A few people came in to eat around 18:45. There are a couple of things which could be improved though. The place is a bit “dull”. It’s clean but could do with a bit more decorative “life”. Also we were not asked if we would like a drink no alcohol on the menu, but we don’t drink anyway) when we sat down which would be normal in any restaurant in my view. The staff are pleasant, but low key. It is minimally staffed so nothing happens quickly. Finally, it isn’t that easy to spot from the road. We passed it twice until my wife pointed it out back from the road. They could do with a prominent sign. All that said, go for the food. In my opinion you won’t get better. Had a meal here a couple of weeks ago with the wife. Food and service was fantastic. I have been in hospitality for 40 years now and this place rates very highly.
