Mon Oncle Jean - South Hams

A hidden gem. superb paella (see photo). my wife said the escape was amazing. I recommend reservations as the place is tiny. super attentive staff and the chef refers to visitors like house guests recommend weine to fit their creations. even the brot is homemade. absolutely charming.

The restaurant serves a delicious large coffee alongside the best cream tea topped with incredible scones and homemade strawberry jam.

This cozy café also offers an evening menu. We tried the croque madame for lunch, which is a croque monsieur with a fried egg on top. It was absolutely delicious and came with a lovely side salad. The coffee was good, but a bit too strong for my taste - I should have just asked for a shot. I would definitely go back again.

This restaurant is fantastic for enjoying authentic French cuisine with generous portion sizes. I will definitely be returning in the future.

This was really rather pleasant and most enjoyable would certainly recommend for lunch unable to comment on dinner.
