The Brioche Cafe - South Hams

We were early on a Saturday morning and the place was a hive of activity. the staff was friendly and welcoming, our food was well cooked and immediately arrived. we felt that it was very good.

Service was poor.? we had to ask for a knife and a fork. no offer of a serviette. sandwich only a thick disc of bad quality cheese with a bit of pickle in cheap brot. salat was fine.” ice cream “milk shaker. I don't think so. pulverized nesquik. more like. clean a table with a dirty tea towel. to what it was. will not return

Amazing. the breakfast or service cannot fail. excellent spicy, crispy oash-bread, strong coffee. even given jam for toast. very recommended.

They were the best I ever had. friendly staff beautiful vegetarian and meat breakfast options. beautiful speck crispy and smoked.

The staff are really good. They went out of their way to ensure that the service was good and we never had empty plates on the table for long. The food portions however were not so good. I had a breakfast which was just a...slice of bacon, one egg and some beans with 1 slice of toast. It could hardly be called a breakfast. The food tasted good though so the quality of food was definitely good enough. We also had cake which was good. My wife had a cream tea here which was her third cream tea of the week! This little cafe had the best cream tea of them all apparently.
