The Farmyard Cafe - South Hams

Big thanks to the Farmyard Cafe for accommodating our family of 24 this morning. It was no trouble to book and the tables were all decorated for us. We all enjoyed our breakfast. All freshly prepared and didn’t take long at all. It was the first time for some of the family and we’ll all definitely be back again. Merry Christmas xxx

Today we tried the new afternoon tea experience at Vieras tearoom at the farmyard cafe The tea room was nicely presented with nice China and had a nice cosy atmosphere. The waitress service was excellent with a wide variety of teas and coffees available and regularly topped up. The food all freshly made and homecooked. Today's offerings were egg mayo, cucumber, tuna and ham and mustard finger sandwiches. Fresh home made scone with home made jam and clotted cream and finally just to fill you up completely a mini carrot cake, a mini banana cake, a mini millionaires shortbread and a couple of fresh for the healthy touch. A very nice experience, you should try it!!

My family and I had a wonderful experience visiting Santa Paws at the restaurant with our new puppy Luna. The Christmas room with Santa and Mrs. Claus was beautiful and they were very welcoming. They had a great connection with our granddaughter Darcy, who typically is shy but really opened up to Santa here. The food also looked delicious, and we will definitely be returning to try it in the future.

My daughter and I brought our dogs to visit Santa Claus today and it was fantastic. He showered our dogs with attention, giving them sausages and treats. We then enjoyed a delicious breakfast and a lovely cup of tea. This spot is a must-visit for dog walkers as they really cater to our four-legged friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience today, we will definitely be back on our next dog walk in that area. Michelle, Albert George x

Stopped in here today for the festive baguette as it had been advertised on the Facebook page. Yes the place looks a little shabby chic but you cannot fault the warm welcome and excellent food and drink. Great location if you fancy a walk on the moors and dogs allowed.
