Buffalo Gill's - South Kingstown

I should have paid attention to the mixed reviews before going to this restaurant—unfortunately, it seemed highly rated. It's possible the positive feedback comes from the owners, friends, or perhaps intoxicated patrons from the nearby golf course. What a disappointment. Honestly, this might be the worst dining experience I've had in a decade. It felt like a total waste of time and money. The food was barely better than school cafeteria fare. We ordered sandwiches, but they were out of deli meat. The chicken wings were subpar, resembling low-quality breaded options from a pizza place. The onion rings were all uniform in size, reminiscent of fast food chains like Burger King, and to top it off, my son found a hair in his Buffalo chicken dip. The pizza wasn’t even as good as frozen Elios. And who puts BBQ sauce on Buffalo chicken dip? This place is an absolute disaster. I am really bummed that I chose to have lunch here. It deserves an F minus.

This place is awesome!! Great food at great prices. I had the BCGLT, a modified BLT in a wrap and Smitty's Choppy Chop, their take on a NY bodega specialty similar to a cheesesteak, on a grinder roll, Both sandwiches were awesome crunchy bacon on the blt which I love and the Choppy Chop had all that gooey meaty goodness that you'd expect out of a classic cheesesteak plus some. The bar is a fun clubhouse atmosphere tucked away from the center of Wakefield so it feels like an oasis. The sandwiches were a mere $8 a piece and came with slaw and chips and a pickle (what the f$ ? . A new patio will be opening soon so I can imagine what a great place this will be for lunch or at sunset once the weather warms up. All in all a great new option in Wakefield for great takes on simple delicious food!!!

Had smash burger sliders! Very good fresh ingredients and fast service. Would definitely recommend. Perfect for after a round of golf!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Buffalo Gills! The food and service were exceptional. I highly recommend trying the Mag n Mack bites and the sliders—they're delicious! It’s a great place to relax outside at a picnic bench and enjoy the nice weather. Plus, there's a fantastic bag toss game on the patio! Chef Brandon truly knows his way around the kitchen, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go back soon!
