Saracen's Head - South Oxfordshire

I visited this restaurant with friends before Covid restrictions were lifted. There were still limitations, allowing only up to 6 people to sit outside. The owners had to ask a group of 12, who were well known at the pub, to quiet down. However, they didn't seem to care and continued to be rowdy at their table in the garden. It was disappointing to see that not everyone takes health guidelines seriously, as a friend of mine was lost.

I recently had a lovely Sunday dinner at this restaurant. The vegetarian options and potatoes were very good. The staff were friendly and the cost, including a delicious pudding, was a great deal. The presentation of the beer was also well done. There may not have been a wide selection, but the food was fresh and not just frozen or reheated.

We brought our 89-year-old mother to this restaurant for Sunday dinner and we were not disappointed. The lamb was tender and served with plenty of potatoes and vegetables. The service was pleasant and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. They also show all 2018 World Cup games for those who are interested.

A good place on the road from the bird in hand served a large pint of brakspears. sport tw, pub games, juke box available
