Simplee Boba - South Pasadena

Wonderful delicious iced teas. Yummy creamy teas with Boba and picked sea salt caramel and cheese whip and what not. Young energetic staff. Always a pleasure.

Parking was a challenge; I had to park two blocks away. Now, onto the boba! The taro slush boba was quite tasty, with much less sugar than you'd find at other boba shops. I'm open to trying other flavors, but I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble of hunting for street parking. It makes you wonder—are you driving more or going out more? Tough decisions!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We found the drinks, made at 50% sweetness, to be just right for our taste. We sampled the matcha milk tea and jasmine tea. Interestingly, they use plastic bubble lids instead of the typical heat-sealed lids, but it wasn't a big deal. On Tuesdays, they offer a $3 Thai tea special all day long. Don't forget to ask for a stamp card—they give you one free drink after 10 stamps!

Great boba place! I ordered the milk tea and Oolong milk tea with pudding, and both were delicious. My only downside is that they add too much ice to the drinks, which makes it feel like you're paying more for ice than for the actual tea. Also, the parking situation can be quite a hassle.
