Angelina's Tavern - South Plainfield

Had gone there with my mom. We shared an appetizer of ckans with sausage in it. They were very good. I had ordered a burger, hold the bread. They didn't hold the bread. But the burger was very good. I forget what my mom ordered, she said it was ok. The service was very good. I think every waitress in the place (4 maybe) stopped by to ask how everything was. It is an Italian restaurant, so I would check the menu before going if you have dietary restrictions. I'm diabetic, so it was limited.

Had excellent pizza here. The beer tasted like the line needed a little cleaning but otherwise ok. The calamari was also not bad. Stuff was super friendly but the place was pretty noisy for being so small. Would want to come back for another try though.

Fantastic neighborhood restaurant, easy for lunch, happy hour or a relaxing dinner. Good menu options, easy feel. Update 2/24 to note that the service somehow gets even better with every visit ???? 8/24 update agrees with the last wonderfully consistent service

Just had Dinner here for my fiancé?s birthday. The food portions were huge and it was delicious. Can?t sing enough praises for the waitstaff they were helpful and were so pleasant. Especially Nicole she was fabulous!

A nice neighborhood tavern where you can get a pizza and basic Italian favorites. Food was okay but, service is attentive and friendly. This is where it shines. They have a separate dining area in the evening or when there is an overflow from the dining area at the bar. Plenty of parking within their lot. Prices are competitive and they charge a fee for credit cards. Give it a try.
