Red Lobster - South Plainfield

My husband and I had a great experience here. The food was good, but it was our server, Adela, who really made the experience great. She was very attentive and friendly and she offered exceptional customer service.

The server was very friendly and patient, I am indecisive. We ordered the new Orleans salmon (something like that) and it was delicious. The drinks were also very good. The dessert was bigger than I expected but also was amazing. One time the booth we sat at smelled but they explained the odor and that it was being fixed. Next time we got the same booth and there was no odor. We go here every time we celebrate and enjoy ourselves and the food every time.

Ordered ahead to go. Food was okay. Depends what you order. The seafood dip was too salty and the chips were soggy. The mussels and the coconut shrimp were okay. The side sauce for the coconut shrimp I found to be too sweet. Food was okay. Depends what you get.

I am disappointed honestly. My first server, William, awful. My table got a new server, Luis, he was great! The only pleasantness at the restaurant. The food was awful. It?s a seafood restaurant and it?s not fresh. The scallops are frozen and fake, mushrooms were microwaved and it tasted old, and the shrimp was chewy. Don?t come here.

My meal was delicious with the best of all three, fish, shrimp lobster. My sangria could've been a little stronger but it was tasty enjoyable. Good dining experience especially during this pandemic. The restaurant was empty it made me feel comfortable that it wasn't crowded. I would eat at this location again.
