Cape Whoopies, Maine's Gourmet Whoopie Pie

The team of Cape Whoopies has done a great job to get our order out and 2/3 of the way over the country intact and on time. Flavors were amazing and we even shared with friends. The best Pie we've ever had!

I'm Rachel Dunn, the GM on day Crabmeat and Lobster. I found this amazing setup and went to try their Whoopie cakes. I can't have enough on the excellent taste, consistency, texture rave. Every bite comes together with amazing taste. The portions are perfect, the taste is magic, the variety is incredible. I loved her so much that they are now our new Vender for Day’s Crabmeat and Lobster. We sell the lemon blueberry (OURSTANDING!)Maniac (Your perfect traditional whore cake) also comes gluten-free!!! SCORE! I 'm a Whoopie Pie junky and sample any and all anywhere I can. This week I found Cape Whoopie 's at the Feast Gourmet Market in Aspinwall, PA (I live in southeast Florida and was visiting family). Mine was paired with a fresh cup of Columbian slow pour coffee at room temp so the filling was very creamy (yum) and the cake was deliciously moist and crumbly (I love your reply about not using the industrial oils which makes Whoopies more 'slimy ' so they hold together). Well done. Continued success.

A gem in my new hometown! Just moved to Maine and Cape E and am on a journey to try ALL whoopies!Customer service is top notch. Selection is robust. Price is reasonable. Flavors are fun!My faves so far have been Peanut Butter and the seasonal Christmas Candy one! I stopped in recently to grab a Whoopie Pie and was very disappointed in the quality of the food. After my first bite, I had to throw the rest in the trash. The cake section was “okay” but not great. The filling unfortunately had the consistency of gum. I literally had to chew the frosting….I honestly hate to leave a negative review for any business, I really do. But after this experience, what I tasted does not represent what a real whoopie pie should be in any manner other than it’s shape. Change your frosting and I’ll give you another try!
