This restaurant is not good.!!!The cashier just wants your money ! They don’t care about their restaurant. You place your order for pickup they give you a pickup time but when you get there you still have to wait !!! And they don’t give you utensils and condiments until you ask???? Seriously??? And you ALL need to check your food before you leave because the cashier is the one dishing out your meal with the left over meat!!! That’s not RIGHT!!! And not the way to treat people!! They need to treat their cashier how to great and treat customers !!! And don’t think about only the money!!!!!

On June 16th, I placed a catering order. For the fried chicken, I asked for legs and thighs instead of other pieces. I paid over $100 just for 75 pieces. However, that was not the point. I was so stupid. I never checked my order and when I went to drop it at the party, It was a whole tray of legs only. They don't take their Time when talking orders or re check what they're giving people. HORRIBLE !

I always eat from here and the chicken is always juicy. i ordered delivery for the first time at 8 and it arrived at 9. the chicken was dry and the fries were hard. the chicken was cold as bricks and i couldn't swallow it if i didnt have a drink. the chicken sandwich was good though

Vishal drove all the way from Richmond Hill to my neck of the woods and was such a pleasant man, food was extraordinary, thank you for delivering to us, I know it was a glitch on seamless however the wonderful woman who I spoke with was beyond kind, sweet, generous and professional. Thank you so very much Update 6/11/23 Had to upload images of the amazing food that Dar Bar always serves us. The price is unbeatable and the total was only $53 for a family of three with lots of leftovers for the next few days.

Shame on me for never giving this a shot. I used to always see it whenever I was on the bus on my way to college classes and back home or simply walking by. I've seen this place go through renovation after renovation throughout the years but never stepped inside. Today, I decided to do so to further check out more eateries in my community and support local businesses. Plus, they serve fried chicken, another local spot that isn't a chain serving up fried chicken that isn't just Popeyes. I ordered Chicken Tenders, two pieces of chicken (a leg thigh), and the Shrimp Tackle Box to get an idea of their fried selection. The lady that took my order told me it was going to be a twenty minute wait, which I was fine with seeing that the tenders and shrimp are made to order. It take more than twenty minutes, a bit of a long wait but I don't mind waiting a while for good well prepared food. But part of me did have some doubts seeing as it was my first time visiting this place. Once I got my meal and arrived home I immediately dug in. Their Chicken Tenders were fresh, seasoned, and plump. Each bite had me going in for another immediately after. A little greasy though but it was delicious. Their fried chicken had a different seasoning though, but a GOOD seasoning. It's halal so don't expect big pieces of chicken, but I can assure it's delicious! Next up was their Shrimp Tackle Box. Sadly, the shrimp left a lot to be desired. Tasted like any regular fried baby shrimp which is decent. I was expecting more shrimp though for the price but with how much food I got I can't find myself complaining too much. The french fries were standard, a little soggy--how I like them, yeah I know, arrest me if you want. They were shoe string fries so nothing much to say, pretty basic. Overall, good food and delicious halal fried chicken.
