El Zocalo - South San Francisco

I'm visiting from Florida, and my relatives recommended this restaurant. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the carne asada with rice and beans was delicious!

Absolutely the best food ever! The pupusas are especially amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming too!

The sauce and the texture of the pupusas don't remind me of anything from El Salvador.

I came to El Zocalo to get some pupusas. I got some chicharron queso and frijol queso. The pupusas were delicious, but a bit greasy, I really enjoyed them. The staff is very friendly, I appreciate the great customer service. When I feel like eating a pupusa, I will be back.

I spent over $100 on dinner and I tipped. They raised the price $5 a pupusa)and still jacked me on the filling. All I got was dough. Didn 't taste anything else I was lucky to find some cheese here and there.very disappointing ?This place Used to be good. We won 't be coming back here again. I didn 't even think about checking my receipt for any charges for the to go containers...
