Yagiz - South Yarra (VIC)

From the moment we entered, we felt warmly welcomed, as if we were old friends, thanks to the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy. Each course was incredible, featuring unique flavors that were expertly balanced. The gluten-free guest at our table felt well accommodated as most dishes were gluten-free. I thoroughly enjoyed sampling the Turkish wines and will definitely be seeking out more to try in the future. We eagerly anticipate our next visit, and we’re considering reserving the private function room for a special occasion. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of us!

Went to Yagiz last night with a few friends and the guys there couldn’t do enough for us. The waiter (Alex, a lovely Irish man) knew everything about the menu and recommended us on what to order as we had no idea. We ended up with a 6 course delight! Thanks again, can’t wait to return.

The food was impeccable, and the decor was truly impressive. Chef Murat, the staff, and the service all deserve a perfect 10/10! Yagiz has a fantastic atmosphere and is definitely a new contender for Melbourne's top 10. I can't wait to find an excuse to reserve the private dining room!

A fantastic new addition to the neighborhood with great potential to become a local favorite! The service was warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, the decor was unique, and the Turkish wine was exceptional (though the name slips my mind). The passport they provide at the end is a charming detail! We’ll definitely be returning.
