Abbays - Southaven

Her fried catfish is amazing and the sweet potato casserole is so good I feel as if it were dessert. I literally ate for lunch here every day of the week.

Just dined in for dinner. Place was moderately busy. Restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and looked me in the eye- which is a good sign to me. The guy behind the counter who appeared to be a manager was super efficient at his job. He wasn 't wearing a name tag but said he 'd been there 8 or 9 years. Hoping management sees this and gives the guy a raise.

Never had an issue here. The quality is consistent and the service has always been great. Will continue to go here for my fast soul food cravings. Still recommend the hamburger steak and gravy. I don't normally like green beans but they have done something right so give em a shot.

I asked my 2 roommates if I could buy them lunch today, and lunch we went. We decided on abbays today, for I have only been to the olive branch location. I enjoy their veggies and got fish with cabbage and fried spicy broccoli. The other 2 got beef tips with their sides. We had a 4th party stop by and ate with us also and she had baked chicken. I will say the tea is fresh the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. I have enjoyed the 2 times I have eaten here.

This was my first time having Abbay’s. I must say, they have a forever customer here! I ordered the Baked wings with three veggies sides. My sides were double broccoli and rice casserole and green beans. I got the roll and cornbread with my meal along with a medium Hi-C fruit punch to wash it down. It was fresh and delicious. The food is seasoned to perfection. NOT SALTY! But seasoned! The chicken was not dry. I loved it!! Try them out you will not be disappointed
