Colenzo's Southend - Southend-on-Sea

Enjoyed the restaurant, music was a little loud but could still chat. Service was excellent as was the food. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was a baby crying nearby thriughout dinner, which cannot be helped but did ruin the romance a little.

Evening was lovely, food was amazing, and service was top notch, will definitely be back for some more steak. Yum yum

Went on a Sunday early evening. Service good. Food was good too. Staff working hard. Restaurant probably trying to cater for too many types of group families alongside couples, lighting went from on to off while we were there hence the lower ambience score Still fair value with the discount though

I was celebrating my forthcoming wedding, I ordered a steak medium rare and it came out well done, I sent it back along with my mother’s luke warm fish meal. 10 minutes later I got my steak which was cooked perfect, but my mother didn’t receive hers back so I went to the bar as obviously I wasn’t happy cause I wasn’t going to sit there and eat on my own, the guy at the bar doesn’t listen to what I’m saying and tells me I’m trying to cause trouble and that he wants us to leave! I was shocked and really don’t understand what his problem was?! It’s not a cheap resturant therefore I expect good service and good food.. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone he was soo rude and ruined my celebrations.. I used to go when it was Bougee, but the new place is not a patch on it! Awful experience!

This was the first time I had been to this restaurant and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. It was very tasty and filling.
