Írjon visszajelzéstI was shocked by my experience at the restaurant tonight during the fireworks. Two young servers took a long time to make four hot chocolates with cream. When I asked for cold water in two of them for the children, it seemed to be a challenge for them to fulfill this request. It took both of them to finally do it. I also ordered six doughnuts and a box of small candy floss, and the total came to £23. The long queue caused by the slow service made me feel flustered, and I ended up paying feeling like a fool. This should not have cost £23, and the service was absolutely disgusting.
A group of eleven of us visited this restaurant and were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. Despite our wide age range from 13 to 64, we all found dishes that we enjoyed. The food we ordered was delicious and served in generous portions. Everyone left satisfied with their meals, and I was pleased with the bill as well. Additionally, they offer delicious and affordable oversized cakes.
The service at this restaurant is excellent. It is located right on the beach and serves both alcohol and delicious food. It was a fantastic location to watch fireworks in October, as they set them off in the sea just a few yards away from the restaurant. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and noticed two tables outside on the porch. The beach was crowded (it was a hot Bank Holiday Monday), but there was a refreshing breeze on the verandah and some welcomed shade. We ordered food and the lady at the counter was very helpful. We ordered fish and chips, scampi, and a few other dishes, and everything arrived quickly and was much larger and better quality than we had anticipated. The staff were attentive, and despite having a nut allergy and a gluten-free member in our group, they were able to accommodate us. The prices were not cheap - £10 for fish and chips and £5 for a pint of lager - but for one of the best views in Southend, it was definitely worth it. We would definitely return to this restaurant as it was the best meal we have had in Southend in the past 10 years. Seriously.
We wanted a quick lunch , and stopped here! It was warm enough to sit on the deck overlooking the beach. Although some of the sights on there might put you off your food ! We had a burger and fries, a cheese dog and fries and a jacket pot. All the food came with salad, I must say it was better than expected. Good quality food and great service with drinks (2 alcoholic) the bill was only £30.
