Írjon visszajelzéstThe staff is very friendly. It is a quaint family owned eatery. The options on the menu are bountiful and the prices are very reasonable. That is about where the good stuff ends. One might think that seafood is not their thing but it is part of their name. I had the broiled seafood sampler and my wife had the fried shrimp and scallops. Her dinner was at best described as OK to bad. My dinner was the worst. I did not realize that good food could be made to taste that bad. My wife was listening to me complain and did not believe me when I said that even the shrimp were awful. Then she tried one! Her response, I did not know it was possible to have a negative taste. They had actually managed to suck the flavor out of the food. Cardboard would not have tasted better but could very well have had more flavor that my broiled food did. All of the food looked nice and seemed to be cooked properly and had a visual appeal with the red spices that had been applied. However, whatever they applied to the food was not a flavor enhancement, it actually seemed to take the flavor away from the food. It was all that way. I will not return, try at your own risk. My wife said, Try Long John Silvers instead which is interesting because we do not like that restaurant either.
I love this place. It is a nice family owned restaurant with an old southern cookin' style to it. There are so many items to choose from on the menu...my favorite is the broiled talapia... a must for everyone to try. And the prices are great. It is not directly in town but it beats dealing with heavy traffic at dinner time.
