Starter's And Grill - Southfield

Me and my husbands date night went from great to disastrous. We saw a great movie and came here for dinner and it was so nasty. We sat down and the waitress Lorelle literally threw the menu scanner at us and just walked away. We figured she must’ve had a bad day but when we asked for bread and she came back it was ok. We told her there was hair in it she said ok sorry and left the bread and never brought any new bread. Then our appetizers came out after our meals and the food runner girl was confused about our food and what we ordered. The food wasnt good but she never came back for us to let her know. We requested the check and she never brought it but stood there and stared at my husband as he reached in his wallet for the bill and rolled her eyes when he said he needed change back for the $200 he gave her when our bill was only $112. We came here to escape the Plymouth location but I’d rather go there, flies and all.

I am a people watcher and bay-bee, there is a lot to watch here, hence the 5 star rating for the atmosphere. During my night, I saw all types of material for YouTube shorts! And the songs playing started to coordinate with the patrons entering the establishment. You have to go to understand what I am talking about. Confidence was on 10,000 for everyone like it was BOGO at the Can 't nobody tell me I don 't look good store. Food is iffy, it 's a chicken wings and fries type place I didn 't expect too much and left a considerable amount of food on my plate. Also, random the catfish is actually swai, it 's apparently in small print on the menu which I missed. Drinks are good, try the sidecar or anything with cognac or vodka. This place has a niche and it excels in that space anything else is going to fall flat, so understand where you are before you order; I wouldn 't order tacos from the Chinese food restaurant, iykyk. Yes I am absolutely going back, as I said when I started this review, I am a people watcher!

Bartender Was Rude!!!! asked another guest if they were ready to leave because her Request wanted her to serve them also when the original guest left another man sat down and she proceeded to tell that guest that they took someone seat, Bar is always first come first serve......We have to do better

This was my first time there and will be my last. We first walked in, and nobody greeted us we had to walk to look like carry out desk and then after 5mins someone came to seat us then we waited like 15mins I had to go ask someone that work there was we going to get someone to take our order. The young lady said yes looking like she had a attitude. So a waitress finally came shortly after so she took our order then came back like 5 mins later to ask what did we order again saying she has a attitude because of a coworker called her a . itch and proceeded to take our order over again. I'm was about ready to leave at that point but I was hungry and a little tired so we stayed. Then we got our advertisers almost the same time as our main food after a long wait. The group that came after us got they food before us which was not cool. Also the atmosphere was so loud from the music and then dudes and females was arguing going back and forth that I was so uncomfortable thinking a fight about to break out right where we was seated even the security was standing there and not really controlling the situation at a timely manner. ? I'm thinking I would've rather went to the one in detroit on plymouth rd or woodward downtown because I never experienced nothing that ghetto in a restaurant before. They need new workers and management and better security. Oh and the steak wasn't cooked well it was tough and dry and not seasoned. The potatoe was small and dry the potatoe wedges was dry looking and the fried chicken was over fried. Never again....Disappointed
