Dover Castle - Southwark

The place was very nice but unfortunately we had stuff stolen there. They told us to put items in place but still stole. Bartender was rude and unhelpful but security joe was great. Do NOT COME. Unbelievable.

Was taken here by some 'locals ' that live very close to it and I can see why a fun pub for drinks and a dance. Would visit again.

I can honestly say this in an awesome pub, plenty of screens for football, plenty of beers to choose from, great bar staff who were really friendly, helpful and welcoming, and great prompt service though that was probably because it was early, they said in a few hours it would have been rammed, again a good indicator of a place! Really happy we chanced upon this place, as it provided a perfect venue to watch the Man City vs Spurs game, relax, drink and we will come back when we can! Thank you.

Review of Dover Castle Hostel Flatshares Pending review I can't comment on the accommodations, just from a pub visit point. The staff are plentiful, friendly and efficient. Drinks are very reasonable: Pint of cider is £2.80, compared to £6.00 at Borough Market 10 minutes walk away. Great that they have an old quiz machine there too which is great for solo travellers. I am staying nearby for this week as I'm in the smoke from Norwich for work, but as I expect to be here on and off for 3 months, I may just make this great little pub my local. Totally recommend whatever age you are as the groups seem mixed.

Enjoy live music every second Thursday and great, loud tunes all night long for a fun evening out in London! A student ID is required for entry, but once inside, you'll have the best night in town thanks to Joe the bouncer and the rest of the staff, including Darragh. It's even better now that someone named Kempo has left, according to what I've heard.
