The Italian Place - Spanish Fork

We usually LOVE the Italian place. We get our favorite sammich, the philly'n'everything. The cream cheese infused steak is BOMB. I had a rough day today between the weather and work, so, I thought we'd splurge a little (something we rarely do) as a treat. Ordered the sandwiches, brought them home, and they're bone dry... no cheese... at all... what happened?

The Italian Place offers fantastic cheesesteaks and hearty "steak and everything" sandwiches, and they definitely don't skimp on the fillings. I discovered this place in the early '70s during my college years, and their 12-inch steak and everything sandwich quickly became my favorite. Back then, it was just $1.99, and while the same sandwich is now around $13, I still think it's worth every penny. As for the atmosphere, it's nothing fancy, but it's decent.

These folks whip up some amazing Philly cheesesteak-style sandwiches! I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu. We dropped by on a Saturday evening, and they prepared our sandwiches swiftly; both were absolutely fantastic. I don't eat out very often, but my friend who joined me has already returned three or four times since then (which speaks volumes)!

These are the best Philly sandwiches I've ever had—truly the finest in the area! We've been enjoying our favorite meal at Italian Place for decades. The combination of meat, spices, and toppings is just perfect. The staff and management are always incredibly friendly, particularly at the Spanish Fork location, which has a wonderful family atmosphere where you really enjoy getting to know the employees. Don’t ever go away!

Important note: I love their sandwiches! And they gave me perfectly fine, very fast, service in-store today. However: They could use a lot of work on their customer service. I tried to order online, but it claimed Delivery Only. I was on the road, and didn?t bother seeing if it would work. They absolutely refuse to answer their phone. I called half a dozen times to call ahead an order, and was disconnected every time. I even called while I was in the restaurant and couldn't hear a phone ringing, so it honestly feels like the phone number is for show. I assumed they were busy, but there were 5 people eating in the restaurant and nobody in line. Dude at the counter couldn't even be bothered to finish his text after taking my order. Love the sandwiches, the CS makes me want to pull my hair out.
