The Penny Gill - Spennymoor

This is exactly the kind of rock bar I love. The atmosphere is very friendly and laid-back, and they don’t take themselves too seriously. They have a great selection of beers and apple wines.

Our band, Dustbowl Diary, performed at the Penny Gill Rock Bar for the first time, and we had an amazing experience! The people were wonderful, the staff was outstanding, and it was a fantastic night for us. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did, and we can't wait to return again soon!

Great little pub fantastic live music plus karaoke, staff always very friendly

This is a fantastic pub with a great atmosphere, adorned with plenty of memorabilia on the walls, and they offer reasonably priced beer.

Just love this pub, great bands, great atmosphere, friendly people, good beer and cider, what's not to like.
