Mcclain's Pizzeria - Spokane

Honestly, my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered through Uber Eats, so I get that it might not be as good as eating in, but that doesn't justify the poor quality. We tried the Nirvana pizza, which is meant to be similar to a Margherita. The toppings were, frankly, underwhelming. I ordered a large (which cost $36), and it barely had more than a handful of diced tomatoes on it. The salty balls were undercooked, greasy, and not even particularly salty. In total, I spent $60 for a large pizza and two orders of the salty balls (which were buy one get one free, just to note), and it felt like a complete waste of money. I won't be returning. I'd recommend checking out Zeek's or Fieldhouse instead—maybe even Chuck E. Cheese for a better experience.

I wish I could give a more positive review. The chicken wings were slimy and a bit undercooked. We waited over 90 minutes for our pizza, and there were only two staff members attending to all the customers. Everyone seemed quite unhappy, which was disheartening. Parking is not an issue here, as there’s plenty of space available with a free parking lot.

I wanted to give 5 stars for food, but the pasta and sides are not as great as their pizza. Wings are usually rubbery because they are baked, jojos and wings would be better fried. Salty balls would be better served with a WARM cheese sauce and little parmesan and garlic. Pastas could use a little more flavor in the sauce. So I knocked the food down a star. But I go for the pizza. All the pizzas I have had are delicious. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Overall 5 stars.
