Írjon visszajelzéstAlways great! I love the bison burger and love being able to create my own pizza. My husband always gets the Meat Lovers Pizza. Neighborhood gem!
Overpriced with small portions. I would never waste my money here again.
Went with High expectations left feeling unsatisfied. Mozzarella appetizer met expectations. Frankie's Lasagna is a personal dish, which is lovely, however there was little to no noodle layers in the lasagna due to lack of dish depth. The flavors were good but it was basically just a meat and cheese sauce. Chicken Marsala was lackluster, sauce was sharp in flavor lacking chicken broth and heavy whipping cream elements. Personal Pizza was pretty standard for a pepperoni pizza, no complaints. Side salad exceeded expectations with house made ranch dressing, but garlic bread was missing two major key elements (Butter and Garlic) Tosted Almond Cake and Flourless Chocolate Torte were both good. Prices felt steep for lunch portions $95 for three meals, drinks, and two desserts. Some drinks were also flat with little to no carbonation.
We started with the fig and goat cheese bruschetta, and I ordered the Truffle Gnocchi while my husband chose the special: Veal Wild Boar Bolognese. They brought us a basket of freshly baked bread accompanied by a butter that seemed infused with rosemary and basil—oh my, I could have just eaten that bread and butter all day! The bruschetta bread was slightly overcooked, but the flavor combination of fig, goat cheese, and arugula was fantastic. My gnocchi was rich, creamy, and melted in my mouth. The flavor was perfectly balanced and left me wanting more. The Veal Wild Boar Bolognese was also a flavor sensation! The meats were so tender they literally melted in our mouths. I really appreciated the Bolognese; the seasoning was spot-on, and I honestly can’t recall the last time I had Italian food where there wasn’t a pool of water or oil separating from the sauce. This sauce was just right. To top off our delightful meal, we ordered a couple of cannoli to take home for later. Even after a three-hour car ride and sitting on our counter for a few hours, the shells maintained their perfect crispness, and the filling wasn’t overly sweet. I have to say, their cannoli reminded me of Mike’s Pastry in Boston—a rarity for cannoli! The staff was friendly and attentive, greeting us right away and ensuring we were well taken care of without being intrusive. The décor was minimal yet inviting, and the restaurant was very clean and cozy. I’ve seen several reviews mentioning noise levels, and while it did get louder as more patrons arrived and music started playing outside, I thought it was reflective of the vibrant atmosphere typically found in Italian restaurants. After all, where in Italy would you find a quiet eatery? It’s all part of the experience of living and enjoying life! For those who prefer a milder dining experience, Olive Garden is just down the road. I highly recommend Frankie’s to anyone seeking great food and an authentic Italian experience in the U.S.!
Oh. My. Goddddd. We got their basic 4 cheese pizza last night, and it’s literally the best pizza I have ever had. It had a surprisingly complex flavor. I also got the ricotta bruschetta, which had a much milder flavor. For what the bruschetta is, it’s very good, but I personally like very strong and rich flavors, so it wasn’t quite my taste, but I won’t hold my individual preferences against them at all. 5/5 stars hands down! I am the type that can usually take or leave pizza, but this pizza doesn’t play by the rules. It’s forking fantastic!
