Part of their menu is on an iPad! Service was alright though a bit cold and stuffy. We were here to hike in the Zion National Park, and came straight to Switchback after a long day up on the mountains. We did freshen up, though we were in more sportive attires since our entire trip is all about hiking. I wonder if it is due to our less than formal apparel that the waitstaff treated us differently from other tables.
AGAIN hands down, the best steakhouse we've visited. We came for our (as of now) yearly visit to this establishment and we had our same server, James. He was amazing as usual, perfect service! This visit the restaurant was packed, I think because of the music festival in town, but the service was spot-on. This time we got the calamari to start, the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and the cut of the day which was a 16oz strip. The other cut of the day was a 24oz cowboy and boy was it large! We'll try that next time, if it's the cut of the day. The steak was on point and cooked to perfection. The meatloaf was also really good! The tomato slice on top was a nice touch and added some good flavor. We'll be back next year!
Meal was delicious. Service was okay. Just seems a bit pretentious and over priced for such a small town(bottle of wine we purchased was 3 times the cost of retail). That's a bit much. And it cost to park your car. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
What is spectacular restaurant. A beautiful space, with incomparable views of the surrounding mountains, in a room with Southwest decor, on steroids. Now let's get to the food: Aged steaks, six different fish entrées, salads large enough to share with a small family, and entrées in every category, plus a great wine selection, beer selection, craft cocktails, and many desserts. Service is also spot on. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Listen up: you'll want to bring your Sugar Daddy because this place isn't cheap. Just a quick 5-minute drive from Zion, this restaurant offers large portions and a wonderful atmosphere. It's a bit more expensive than its neighbors down the street and leans more towards fine dining than casual fare. Expect to spend around $35-$50 on a non-steak dinner; that’s just for the entrée and doesn’t include starters or appetizers. If you're ordering steak, be prepared to shell out $50-$65 per person, so it’s a good idea to come with a financial plan—whether it’s your Sugar Daddy or your real dad! The staff were friendly, my meatloaf was fantastic, and they were totally accommodating even though we were still in our hiking gear from completing an 8-mile trek at Zion.
