College Street Cafe - Springfield

Yesterday, my husband, son, and I visited College Street cafe and were extremely pleased. I have been on the hunt for old fashioned mom and pop places to eat lately. This is palace we plan on visiting at least once a week. My husband ordered the classic double with chips, my son ordered the single with chips, and I ordered the Friday catfish special. I was the best catfish I have had in a very long time. I highly recommend trying this place out! For the record, we came back for breakfast this morning and again was pleasantly pleased.

My mom and I went there this morning for breakfast/lunch for the first time. We fell in love with this sweet place. We will be making many more trips to dine. Wonderful food and service.

Good food! Small but good home cooking. Would recommend anyone to eat here.

The staff was so friendly! The food was so delicious! Food was DELICIOUS! ALL OF IT! Burgers....Tenders.....Catfish.....Baked Beans.....Fried Potatoes ....Green Beans......Fries.....even the corn bread! Owner even hugged Sis before we left : . We were passing by and decided to stop at this café for a quick meal. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the hamburger paired with fries was fantastic. The atmosphere had a charming old-world vibe. I highly recommend it. Thank you!
