Long John Silver's - Springfield

Which once was a great place to eat has turned into a non-so-good place. eating is never fresh and very old, possibly from longer than 30 minutes to sit. the fries are also cold as they have been sitting for 30 minutes. the building is shaded and has not fixed or improved. the lighting in the Drive-Thru area is very dim and does not provide a well-lit area. whoever runs this, he makes a heavy duty for one once really great place.

Online ordering experience is top notch. even if it looks janky, it works like a charm. eating is always hot and ready to pick up

I'm sorry I stopped eating here. the service was extensive and the place had to be cleaned. eating was not very good fat and the garnel was very badly costed old. the fries were not very good, some of the fish were boiled over and some were boiled under. So if they find somewhere else, they won't try it here. very pouring place to eat. food: 1/5

I came through the Drive-Thru and I ordered a 16-piece family meal with all the fish they let me prefer, and I waited about 30-45 minutes and I get my order I look at my order and they gave me only 13 pieces and the half of them were huh. I went back to the drive-thru to fix it and they did with hardly excuses. they gave me the new kist with all the fish and they cut me 2 pieces again. So again I go through the drive thru and say what they have messed up and no sincere apologies again. they let me move forward and wait another 15 minutes until they finally give me my 2 pieces of fish and she just said, "Here is your fish" sounds so irritated. I have been going to other long john silver for decades and I have gone a few times to this and always wait a terrible long and not good customer service ever. the terrible experience will not go back here.

I love fish and really love the batter and spices at LJs. I don't have the opportunity often so always look forward to a visit. I guess the staff on this day were having a rough day or someone told them they were getting a pay cut or something as they were not very friendly or hospitable. We ate our meal and left but I must say it might be awhile before I return. My fish desires can be met at other venues in Springfield
