Perks Coffee House - Spruce Grove

Why stop at a big coffee chain when you can support a local business. This is a great coffee shop that makes food fresh. From muffins hot from the oven in the morning to soup and sandwich lunches, along with sweet treats, everything is delicious.

A great selection of beverages, soups and sandwiches. The gluten-free options are tasty as well. The combo's are well put together. It's a great atmosphere for a tête-à-tête or for a group of a few more. There's a small library and great seating for those going solo.

I cannot recall the many many times I have visited here. Never a bad experience. Always Great food, service and atmosphere. Their coffee and food is amazing. I have enjoyed a glass of wine and live concert here, I have studied and worked here, I have had the best soup that was house made here, I have taken my kids after skating or tobogganing here ( they love the hot chocolate) and have purchased amazing art work from local artists here. I am happy to see them contributing and giving back to the community. I have seen them numerous times at local events and have even enjoyed their complimentary coffee and treats set out at my children school during different activities. Their passion for coffee, food and community is seen and experienced.

I love perks and while I was working my direct sales business always used it as my meet up spot. The staff are friendly and helpful, I love the magazine/book library, and the owners commitment to community. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 star rating was the prices, but the brownies almost make it worth the extra cash.

Conveniently located by Porta Romana Restaurant and Spruce Grove library. Nice place to pick up some fancy and regular hot and cold drinks. Went in to grab some to go but offered seating to stay. We walked out at Christmas time to see the light up in the park. You should go!
