The Tailend Fish - St Andrews

Is a popular restaurant in st andrews. I went on a Tuesday and it was completely packed, I recommend booking them in advance. the food is cooked to perfection, every bite is full of taste. the portion size is generous and the presentation is beautiful. the service was good and the atmosphere was very lively. great place for fresh seafood. highly recommended

We went to the restaurant for lunch and it quickly filled up. The staff was friendly and the environment was comfortable. We were hoping for more fresh seafood options, but the selection was quite limited.

The fresh ingredients at this restaurant are fantastic. However, my lobster was a bit dry while the Arbroath smokie was delicious. My only complaint is that they do not split bills. I find this lazy and inconvenient. I have worked in restaurants before and know that it is not difficult to accommodate separate bills, even for large groups. Why should I have to pay for everything?

I was served by Aileen during my visit to the restaurant. She mentioned that she has been working there for 12 years, and I could tell she truly cared about the place. She was very friendly, helpful, and extremely kind. I ordered the lemon sole and lobster dish.

Great place for fish and chips! We had the haddock and also grilled halibut. The onion rings are recommended. Finished with Baileys Cheesecake!
