The Spanish Bakery Cafe (salcedo Kitchen)

Tony and I visited the Spanish Bakery Cafe on George's Street in St. Augustine, Florida. I had a quick chat with the woman baker to inquire about the Cuban loaves of bread. The scent alone was incredible, and I think it should be captured in a candle—I would definitely buy one that smelled like freshly baked bread! The cafe is small, but there are several outdoor seating areas where you can savor delicious baked goods. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I absolutely loved the chicken caprese sandwich—it was delicious! My friend and I shared one, which was a great decision because it was more than enough for both of us. There was plenty of cheese, and the pesto was fantastic! We're definitely planning to come back!

If you are ever in st Augustine you have to visit here for a sausage in a blanket . Or one of thier other amazing dishes we have stopped here every trip since I was little and it?s still amazing place to get a bite . Outside seating and very quiet off theMain Street . Take a break and have a great meal you won?t regret it I promise highly recommend

I absolutely adore this place! From their exceptional Cuban sandwiches to the deliciously spicy mustard sauce, this charming little eatery is tucked away on Saint George Street. And don’t skip the baked goods! Enjoy your meal outside beneath a cypress tree (which is quite unusual for this area) while soaking in the beautiful Florida weather.

The food was so wonderful we went two days in a row and parked in a tow zone just to run over to get another Cuban sandwich. The bread is amazing so light and fluffy. Definitely recommend!
