Kfc - St Edmundsbury

I have ordered from this place many times and it just gets worse and worse the food always gives me a stomach aches and the service is dreadful. This time they'd ran out of salt and the food was damp and cold.

We ordered on Just Eat and waited an hour and a half with the ‘assigning driver’ update so we decided to drive to the restaurant to collect only to find our order was in the restaurants ‘Do not cook’ on the Just Eat tablet. We...were assured that our food would be cooked straight away but waited a further minutes with people who had ordered after us getting their food. We asked what on earth was going on to find our ordered had been chucked in the bin. She assured us AGAIN it would be made and finally, after a further minutes, we got our food with no apology. Waiting and a half hours and having to drive and get the food, it was awful. We got the food home but there were a few bits missing. Awful service, very disappointed and will not be returning.

Home delivery was ok But the food was terrible it was hot but dried out, must have been in a hot cabinet for hours unable to eat went in bin

This place is a disgrace. The food is ok but service levels are simply appalling. Ordered a delivery via just eat. Git a message saying “delivered” about minutes from ordering. Considering I live minutes from the shop, a minute delivery at not possible. I only have a few neighbours so checked that they didn’t receive and no. My only conclusion is that there was never any intention to deliver and the payment of was kept by someone. Clearly, this place needs some management and a financial audit. To tell you how uncomfortable I am about this experience, I have cancelled my credit card. I went through the rigmarole of talking to just eat, it took half an hour of my time to get refunded. I have an autistic son and he likes kfc (this believe me is a miracle) but he will only eat drumsticks. This KFC has always accommodated this request even when home delivery. And always fully understood my sons needs without fuss. Home delivery is always...on time or quicker than expected and even through in some cookies for my boy. Food is always hot and chicken portions always been a good size. Thanks to the staff at KFC bury st Edmunds keep it up!
