Applebee's Grill - St. Louis Park

I come here all the time. I have a tradition to come here with my sister on the eve of my birthday. Great food, excellent service and refreshing drinks. Always a good time here.Food: 5/5

Our server was awesome. My issue was that first when my friends and I walked in, the hosts had no idea what they were doing and they left us standing there for 5 minutes on our own with no detail. There was no communication. Keep in mind the restaraunt was not busy and was also over staffed. The host was clearly very frustrated and not happy to help us. Then when we finally got seated, my friend ordered the quesadilla burger and it was NOTHING like the photo on the menu. Definitely only half of the size. We also asked for no pink and there was lots of pink.

We dine here fairly often. The takeout is significantly better, as it often arrives missing items or cold, or sometimes both. However, dining in is enjoyable: the food and service are good, and it's usually not too crowded.

I have loved visiting this restaurant for years, even after they relocated. The service is consistently excellent; even when they're short-staffed, the team remains friendly and attentive. While the food may not quite reach Michelin Star standards, it's still delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great choice for a night out or a solo dining experience. Regarding family-friendliness, despite having a bar, it’s a very welcoming place for families. I've dined here with relatives of all ages, and every visit has been enjoyable.

Applebee's is always a reliable choice when you find yourself in an unfamiliar city. The food is consistently hot and delicious, and the beer is always served cold. Establishments like this often attract locals who come by regularly. To my surprise, this turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've had, thanks to the exceptional service and the friendly locals who made everyone feel welcome. The atmosphere really makes this place special.
