Blueprint Coffee - St. Louis

It was a pleasant change to have alternatives to Starbucks. The bacon biscuit breakfast sandwich was delicious and satisfying. The coffee was decent.

Every detail of third wave coffee was covered here from a warmed ceramic mug, to tableside delivery if your order to expertly prepared espresso, pour overs and milk drinks. The stoppered pourover flasks are a nice touch as well. Baked goods were not stale or leftover from the day before but were served warm and moist. The biscuits had just the right bake. With a flaky inside and slightly salted crust the apple jam they were served with rocked the house.

Vanilla latte was okay. And I didn’t like the banana bread but I didn’t realize it was gluten free so I was asking for it. It’s in a nice area near Wash U.

They have the best coffee houses within a 3 mile radius near the Delmar Loop. The only thing I can suggest is getting more than one size of cappuccino cups. The size is tiny.

The coffee at this restaurant is truly amazing and the baristas are very friendly. Almost everything is made in-house and you can tell because everything tastes so fresh — the biscuit was particularly delicious. The barista with split-colored hair was especially helpful.
