John Mineo's Italian - St. Louis

Fantastic dinner with the girls for Friendsgiving! Jim was amazing and served us surprise cocktails and delicious cheesecake. What more could you ask for? We ended up closing the place down and will definitely be back for more!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was incredible, the recommendations were spot on, and the service was outstanding. I decided to try everything they suggested, even though these weren’t items I would typically choose from the menu, and I was thoroughly impressed. Everyone in our group enjoyed each dish. If you're looking for exceptional service, delicious Italian cuisine, and a great atmosphere, this is the place for you. The Caesar salad was delightful, as were the eggplant and veal dishes. We also sampled a few wines, and I particularly enjoyed the Mount Peak 'Sentinel', which was a fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon that paired perfectly with the meat and red dishes. It had a wonderful aroma, just the right amount of fruitiness, and offered great complexity, body, and finish.

Exceptional food. Will return. Best liver we have ever had and my pasta was perfect.

I visited this restaurant with a group of 12 for a business dinner, and I must say, John and his team were fantastic. There’s really no need to even hand out menus because John will share his culinary inspirations for the evening instead. Once he does, you won’t even want to look at the menu – it’s clear he has a true passion for crafting incredible dishes. The service was excellent from the cocktails all the way through to dessert.

It is one of the most excellent restaurants in St. Louis. My mother-in-law used to do their books back in the day. After moving here, my husband took me there for our anniversary. The last time we were there, my dad treated us for my birthday, July 6th.
