The night started with one bartender, and by the end there were three struggling to keep up. I think we just had a very large crowd. The wait for a single drink was 20 minutes and up. My friends who drink alcohol said the drink prices were quite high. Both sinks in the ladies' room ran out of soap early in the evening, and TP apparently ran out in a neighboring stall. However, they did their best to keep up with our exuberance, and I appreciate them.Wheelchair accessibility: The downstairs area is wheelchair accessible.
We sat at the bar and was in the middle of a shift change. Both gentlemen behind the bar were fabulous. The coconut margaritas are super yummy! *chef's kiss* primo food and nice place inside. The food was great, the chips and salsa aren't complementary which is kind of odd, but we ordered it and the salsa is pretty great. It's got heat to it, but not so much it over powers everything else. Overall, I'd definitely check this place out if you're in the area!
Went here for taco Tuesdays and it was delicious. They are $3 each all day on Tuesday. The steak one was awesome. Parking in landing can be tricky wish they made it easier.
We wandered in during the afternoon to look at the menu and determine if we wanted to return for dinner. We were warmly greeted and encouraged to return. Glad we did! The margaritas were delicious! We had both the house and coconut margaritas and both tasted wonderful. We sat at the bar and were served by the bartender who said it was only her second day. She was great! We ordered a plate of nachos and the flavor was terrific. The salsa and queso combination were wonderful. We wanted a little more so we ordered chips and queso and thoroughly enjoyed them. Overall we greatly enjoyed our visit. Food, drinks, and service were all wonderful!
I was included in a party of 7 about a week ago. When we walked in there was no customers inside and none outside, they asked us if we would like to sit on the patio and we agreed. The table first ordered 3 margs and when they came out 2/3 were the wrong kind and the third was a bunch of syrup (although this is not out of the ordinary for Mexican restaurants in the area). Then we each ordered some cheese dip (chips and salsa is not included). This is where we start to go down hill, each time we ordered anything… they just kept bringing us chips and salsa… ask for salt…. Chips and salsa (that they charge you for, ask for hot sauce….. bring you hot salsa). When the food was brought out one of our guests had a visible hair on her food…she had ordered the exact same thing as one of the other customers. When she alerted the server, the server communicated that it wouldn’t be on the bill and expected my friend to pick it off. My friend asked for a new one and took a picture of the plate. The server took the plate back to the kitchen and literally a few seconds later returned with all the food and handed the other person the plate that matched the picture perfectly minus the hair. This friend however was frustrated with the whole experience and just ate the food. This then brought the bills. We were a group of 7 3 couples and a seventh wheel. The bill is the hand written order of the server and a small cash register ticket. The ticket does not say what any of the line items are the only markings are shapes and Greek letters. When inspecting this further there was either an added tip or service charge of about 13%. We asked our server who said that it was an extra tax. We confirmed this with her three times that it was not a service charge or tip. So I guess soulard now has a sales tax rate of 25%. Overall terrible experience and 4/7 were unwell next day. Also they still have all there reviews from there old location on this one making it seem like a higher rating. Read newest first.
