Crab Shack - St. Petersburg

The worn exterior with nets and oars, signage boasting "smoked fish, fresh crabs, and their specialties" gives a good idea of what to expect inside.

Before visiting this restaurant, please read this entire post. I do not recommend paying over $100 to dine with a large, flying cockroach.

During my weekend trip to St. Petersburg, I was craving crab legs since I now live in Denver. It was my last night and I had to satisfy my craving.

I've been trying to stop for years. we sat right away, beverage orders, menus delivered. When our food arrived, it was wonderful. my man, bill, had the boiled seafood plate, I went everything on the fried fish plate. the portions were generously perfectly cooked. we caught it with a little bit of calccake. wonderful experience. jobs well done by chase, lauren mary ann. I was most impressed by the way everyone took care of our table. I'm sure it was a server table, but another server saw our empty plate deleted them. another stopped seeing if we needed something else. if they have not been, please try it (we have been recommended that the weekends are in the usually very busy waiting times can be long). well done.

That was great. the atmosphere was nice and the waiters and waiters were so nice and friendly. I really recommend this restaurant.
