King St. Take Out - St Stephen

If you like traditional fish and chips you'll love the cute little take out stand. Friendly staff, quick service and great prices. Best to call ahead for take out orders when they first open for the season as the lines are huge!

Man I went to this place after a long day at work for the first time and got the fish and chips. They were amazing they knocked my socks of now I go every day.

The fish and chips is the best we have every had. Cooked perfectly and the amount of food that you get is more than enough. The people that work there are very pleasant and courteous. We drive approximately 40 miles one way just to have wonderful food. We don't look forward to when the close for the season so we will be heading there this evening to get our fix.

A few years ago this was the best take out ever, then something happened, the fries went soggy the fish went from a good size to minuscule generally deterioration in quality. Will try once more and hope for better days.

I've been here several times, and each time they've overcooked the fish. My husband has received burnt fries here. I don't know why more care isn't taken with the deep frying at this place. Switched to McNay's up the street, where the perfectly cooked fish melts-in-your-mouth.
