Fiesta On Main - Stamford

I recently discovered this hidden gem in my neighborhood while on my way to the supermarket, located diagonally across from Shop Rite on Main St. The service and food were both fantastic. For starters, I enjoyed the Papas a la Huancaina, followed by the Lomo Saltado Especial with a side of Maduros (ripe plantains). The huancaina sauce was delicious, the skirt steak was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The green dipping sauce and bread were also very tasty. The only downside was that they only served Coke products instead of Pepsi. There were a few hiccups in the kitchen, such as my appetizer being served after my entree and receiving the wrong entree, but overall, the food and service were excellent. I plan to return with my wife and I'm sure they will earn a 5-star rating from us.

I visited this restaurant yesterday and dined alone. I ordered the lomo, which tasted good, but the frozen margarita was not great. However, they removed it from my bill, which was a relief. When I received the bill, I noticed that a tip had been automatically added. As a server myself, I found this practice ridiculous, especially since there was no indication of an automatic tip policy unless the party had six or more people. Overall, I probably won't return to this restaurant.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. The waitress was very patient and took the time to translate the menu for me. I started with bread and a delicious aji sauce that had flavors of avocado, jalapeno, and ranch dressing. For my main course, I chose the Lomo Chico, which was similar to steak fajitas with onions, fresh tomatoes, and "french fries," served with a side of rice. The restaurant was quiet and empty, and the wait staff was very attentive.

Peruvian food drink done right! would like to thank victor and personal for the treatment of us like kings on our bike tour on the east coast. lomo saltado amazing with the most delicate and tasty steakscasuela marisco suppe wonderful we have never stopped again! .and we know very well, even after living there, victor has served us the best. Thank you.

This restaurant used to be fantastic. It used to be my go-to spot for dining, but in the past year or two, the quality of the food and service has significantly declined. The prices are also high, and there are now additional costs for bread. It's disappointing to see a once great restaurant deteriorate like this.
