Fortina - Stamford

Food was quite good overall, but expensive for the portion sizes. The garlic bread was great and fresh. I got the branzino and it was tasteful and well paired with vegetables. My partner got the lasagna, also delicious, but small part. The atmosphere was extremely loud, which I did not expect. It was hard to hear, just sit on top of each other

Great service. Solid chicken parm dish. The base sauce is a little on the sweeter side but nothing over board.

The food was pretty good. We had an assortment of the appetizers, which were all really good as I think they were better than my entree. I had the baked gnocchi for the entree and it was decent but I felt it could have been better. As far as the atmosphere, it was really loud. It was a struggle to hear the waiter. It was a decent enough to try but I'm not sure if I would go again.

Good place in Harbor point area of Stamford. Seems a bit noisy especially on weekends, but food preparation is pretty good.

The food was good, but the service was very slow, and they didn't warn us that there was no air conditioning. It was 85° in the main dining room and with a reservation it would have been quite a wait for outside. They had the issues of a new restaurant but have been there quite a while. I did enjoy the food though.
