Maxi's - Standerton

I had a terrible experience with the food at this restaurant. While the waitstaff were friendly, it felt like they lacked proper training. I paid R150 for a large grill, and it was incredibly disappointing. The salad was stale and uninteresting, consisting of old greens and just a few tomatoes, missing the promised vegetables listed on the menu. The steak was overcooked, and the waiter didn't even bother to ask how I wanted it prepared. The Boerewors was greasy and overly fatty, and the chicken was tiny with barely any meat on it. I only gave this place one star for the friendly service, and a second star for the drinks, which my friend enjoys weekly at Maxis Standerton. However, I didn't even see the manager during my visit. Overall, it was a very disappointing dining experience when it came to the food.

We had the most wonderful waitress who explained everything to us so clearly. I forgot to catch her name, but she truly made my experience unforgettable.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant was clean and well-organized. However, we had a long wait for our meals.

The first time for our visit to this Maxis restaurant. Will definitely be the last time. The order lasted too long to be delivered and the meals were tasteless, was a general disappointment. Consider another restaurant before earning your hard money here.
