Piccolo Ranch - STARANZANO

We stop just to rest from the bike trip. After a cheap chardonnay glass, the smell of the kitchen and it was impossible not to try. Food was amazing and prices really comfortable. Tables outside, under the trees!

Despite the name Piccolo ranch would suggest this is a steak restaurant (they indeed have steaks), they seem to be more famous for the seafood. The gnocchi with granseola are a killer dish with fresh crab, and also the grilled mains such as branzino are top notch. A nice thing is they have the list of allergens that each food in the menu contains. It 's very nice to eat outside, in a very relaxed environment which is halfway between a restaurant and a seaside bar (there 's no sea however, just the street but there 's vegetation in between). Prices are OK for what you get. Staff is nice but sometimes a bit too relaxed, anyhow they are attentive enough.

Sea food variety is not the largest, but whatever you choose is fresh and tasty. Spaghetti allo scoglio and glrigliata mista (sea food spaghetti and grilled fish) are highly recommeded. Also gnocchi with crab meat are delicious! Nice prosecco wine complements their meals.

Bella trattoria con un valore per soldi. dopo aver prenotato, ho mangiato una griglia con gli amici. le camere, anche se spartani, sono accoglienti e ideali per periodi di primavera/estate. il personale è istruito e solerte, il servizio è veloce. il vino rosso della casa è discreto, la carne è di ottima qualità, ben stagionato e con una cucina eccellente (brace.) i prezzi sono corretti. E' un posto che sono felice di frequentare, lo consiglio.
