I am thrilled that this restaurant has reopened. I stopped by during artsfest for the sneak peek and was impressed with the similarities to the old place, but I especially loved the addition of the bar which made it feel more spacious. I will definitely be returning once it fully reopens. The bar staff were very attentive and efficient. The interior was very clean and welcoming. A great experience overall.

This restaurant has typical dipping sauces, but stands out with its well-trained and knowledgeable staff! The bartenders are experts at making drinks and engaging with customers, while the security team handles situations calmly and professionally. Thursday nights are particularly enjoyable with entertaining activities and affordable drinks. This is not just any bar; it's a place with a well-managed staff that maintains a mature atmosphere. Guests who act childish or belligerent will be promptly escorted out, as they should be!

I visited State College for the first time and the salesman at Hibbett Sports recommended this place. I had the Creole dish with alligator tail. The food was amazing, the service was efficient and fantastic. The atmosphere and decor are definitely worth experiencing, and the delicious food was just a bonus. The restaurant has a cool vibe with a great backstory. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

What can I say about the joyfulness of the cellar that was not already said? a classic state college bar, which is very missing after the owner change in 1/27/18 under duke. a sad day for the tradition of the Penn culture.

The food is always good (it's from Spats upstairs I think) and the staff is friendly. It's your typical dive bar feel with good prices. We love the Skeller!
