Tarragon Restaurant - Atherton Hotel

Had to wait for appetizers for 45 min and then it was only warm. we also had to ask for our salads and wait again for my daughter 's pasta was warm to cold and my kartoffels and garnel cold. did not want to send back because not an hour wanted to wait to get it

Very disappointing. I was looking for an experience how the 4star rating would indicate and my experience was not where close to it. service was slow, eating accepted for getting, and the food quality was best good. will not return.

For party of 5 for parents and family weekends. we were not disappointed! hotellobby is beautiful and the restaurant had these cool paintings of celebrities that was a big piece of conversation on the wall. that was great! my huhn marsala was delicious and I tried the brazed short rib ravioli of my daughter and that was amazing. would definitely return!

I don't like to give bad reviews, but honestly the food was pretty bad. The ravioli was rubbery with a brown gravy on top, and the chicken marsala had an awful flavor. I'm not much of a cook, and I could have done better. It was game weekend at PSU, and we were able to get a reservation, and there were plenty of empty tables, which seemed too good to be true. It was.

Showed up on time for our lunch reservation. There was no one there and the restaurant appeared closed. Could not get the attention of anyone at the front desk. So, we left. This was after they had called me the day before to confirm.
