J's On The Bay - Staten Island

I highly recommend this restaurant! My friends and I enjoyed a delicious giant breakfast platter, a margarita pizza, burger, steak sandwich, and squash soup. This place is definitely worth crossing the Verrazano Bridge for. The service was also top-notch!

Cute little spot for lunch. Had a moment with hubby for his birthday. Food was okay. Not anything to write home about. My husbands plate had a strand of hair in his eggs. I was not happy about it, but hubby didn't want to make a big deal about it.Had chicken and waffles. Chicken was good, but the waffle was bland. Hubbys steak was good. The staff was nice and our waitresswas very pleasant. Even tho the food was okay I would go back again for the service. Try something else on the menu.

I recently had dinner at J's On The Bay after their full renovation and was excited to try their revamped menu. We started with the homemade mozzarella sticks, made with liuni's mozzarella and garlic breadcrumbing, served with a side of vodka sauce. For our main dishes, we ordered the drunken dumplings (ricotta gnocchi with vodka sauce) and the carbonara pasta. We also received mini focaccia bread style pizzas. Everything was delicious and I look forward to trying more items from their new menu in the future.

The restaurant had a stylish interior, with attentive and welcoming servers serving delicious food. They started off with warm croissants accompanied by a heavenly spread. The shrimp cocktail and lobster roll were definitely worth the cost. The fried chicken and waffles were also very tasty.

Absolutely FANTASTIC food, love the ambiance/vibe/decor. Such HIGH quality food for a reasonable price. The staff is so friendly and sweet as well. This place is literally one of my favorite restaurants on SI to date. Wow. Don?t believe the other negativereviews. This isn?t your basic boring 2 eggs and toast diner food. 10/10
