Ocean Galley Seafood - Statesboro

Giving 4 stars because the front windows need a serious tint job. The heat in the afternoon makes it so hot and the blinds couldn't be adjusted. We had to move seats and it was still hot! I prefer not to sweat as I'm eating.

Giving 3 ? even tho I do not want to.. I have loved the swamp platter for years and my last visit was very different. The catfish NEEDS to be fried longer and crispy.. they were mushy! The batter pulls off whole on the frog legs. The softshell crab was great and the cheese grits lacked cheese almost! Breaks my heart for 3 ? but it's not the same!

I shouldn't even give them a one star. The food was fried to a crisp. It was hard. Hush puppies were fried to hard. No napkins , no fork or spoon , no tartar sauce or cocktail sauce. Fish , oysters , bite size shrimp, Cole slaw was disgusting. I ordered 3 orders but will not be getting anything else from them.

The last few times I have been in to have lunch the food was getting worse in flavor. Today probably ended my eating at Ocean Galley. 12:30 out of baked potatoes, cold french fries, hush puppies tasted like they had been fried twice. Fish was so greasy it left a puddle of oil in the plate. Nope don't think I will be back!

Nice and cozy. Sam, the server, was attentive and proactive when it came to her job. I had the Mahi-Mahi and enjoyed it tremendously. Dont miss this spot when your hungry in Statesboro, Ga. I will most definitely be returning
