Shane's Rib Shack - Statesboro

The food tasted decent, but I found the chicken portions to be quite small—my chickens at home are significantly larger. The meat didn't really need the BBQ sauce; it was passable on its own. As for the sauces, they were nothing to write home about. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd say the original or the hot sauce were the best options. Overall, everything felt pretty standard—something I could easily make at home—so I likely won't be returning. However, it could be a good choice if you don't cook or just want a break from it. The Texas Toast tasted like overly processed white bread, so I decided to skip that. The peach cobbler was made with canned peaches, which I could also replicate at home. It cost $24 for two pieces of chicken and a dessert, which is a typical price, but not really worth it if you can cook. It's not bad, but it's certainly not amazing either.

The ribs and peach cobbler were absolutely delicious! The waitress was very friendly and even brought a freshly made peach cobbler to our table. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. I really love this place!

The ribs were excellent, cooked to perfection with a rich flavor. All the side dishes were tasty, and the sweet tea complemented the meal wonderfully.

I used to go to Shane's a bit to Atlanta, but since I moved here, I wasn't there anymore. I think Shane is like the fast food from BBQ, which is not necessarily a bad thing as it is cheap and fast. I have half plate combo with two sides and drink and yikes it was like $26 with lace. I know price inflation and everything that's up, but that's what I expect from a higher endpoint. So everything looked great and was Instagram-worthy, but the ribs were a bit dry and hard. I usually eat only with the dry rub, since meat should have a lot of taste there with the smoke, but had to add the sauce here. The okra and coleslaw were excellent. What was annoying was the flies everywhere I had to throw away every few seconds. The and the table of students who do not understand what is an inner voice. And the tool that repeatedly asks about the question and tries to impress the Tussi on an annoying date. SMH. I'm fine to come back, I didn't expect Shane to be the highest price for the barbecue in town.

Yesterday was my first time going to Shane?s Rib Shack over all I was very satisfied with my food. I thought the ribs were a little over cooked but everything else was on point especially the fried okra. And the customer service was excellent. I will definitely be going back.
